After seven long weeks, Tia Mowry finally revealed her new daughter’s name.
Today, the actress posted a video on her official Facebook page in which she not only gives us a first glimpse of her baby girl but also announces the name that she and her husband, Cory Hardrict, chose for their daughter: Cairo Tiahna Hardrict.
In the clip, Mowry introduces little Cairo and says the unique moniker means “victorious.” The mom of two also reveals the connection between the name and her husband, adding, “He always feels closer to his mother when he’s up in the air. And he said when he was flying, he said he had seen the letters ‘A,’ ‘I’ and ‘R’ in the sky. He said that he wanted the baby’s name to have those letters.”
As for her middle name, the 12-week-old is practically destined to be the next Meghan Markle. “Tiahna is one of the first African princesses, so she is our little princess here,” she adds.
Mowry and Hardrict are also parents to a 7-year-old son, Cree Taylor Hardrict, and we have to applaud the couple for sticking with “C.T.H.” initials for little Cairo.
