‘Masked Singer’ Fans Have 3 Theories About the Identities of This Season’s Snow Owls

*Warning spoilers ahead*

We’re only on week three of the fourth season of The Masked Singer, but things are heating up. Not only have we already unmasked three major celebs, but the series has thrown a handful of twists and turns at us, including the first-ever double-costume character and the only ever self-elimination. Last night’s episode also brought another major shock and left fans speculating about one major competitor specifically.

Wednesday’s episode was packed with performances from the four remaining contestants in group one. Popcorn sang an impressive cover of Harry Styles's “Falling,” while Sun's rendition of Kesha's “Praying” and Snow Owls' heartfelt performance of Meghan Trainor and John Legend's "Like I'm Gonna Lose You” left the judges speechless. Not to mention, Giraffe gave an unforgettable rendition of “Get Down on It,” by Kool and the Gang.

Unfortunately, Giraffe was eliminated and revealed himself to be actor Brian Austin Green. And the 90210 actor didn’t hold back when it came to calling out his close friend and judge, Robin Thicke, for failing to guess his identity.

Green told EW, “No disrespect to him, because he's a super-nice guy, but he sucks at this. He's terrible. I told the producers early on, if there's anybody on this panel that's going to guess me, it's him because we know each other so well. He knows the way that I speak, and the timbre of my voice. For three years, we were best friends—we were at each other's house every day.”

The unexpected unmasking not only shocked fans, but left them questioning the identities of the other contestants—including the Snow Owls.

While the judges guesses seem to be way off base already, online sleuths come up with a handful of solid theories about who’s under the feathered masks. A few include, Derek and Julianne Hough, Chip and Joanna Gaines and Clint Black and Lisa Hartman.

First, there’s been a bit of confusion as to whether these two are a married couple or a brother and sister duo. While they have been referred to as Mr. and Mrs. Owl, a clue package implied that they could also be a brother-sister duo. The Hough siblings seem like a strong option, considering the hints about Christmas and “Let it Snow” line up with their Christmas special on NBC called Holidays with the Houghs in which they danced to “Let It Snow.” Although, if Derek is doing this show and DWTS, he’s very ambitious.

Many fans took the sign in a clue package that read “Magnolia” and ran with it, pointing fingers to married couple Chip and Joanna Gaines—who own a company named Magnolia.

As for country music couple Clint Black and Lisa Hartman Black, the duo again match the Christmas clues (they actually have a Christmas album together), as well as a mysterious clue that involved a shell with a pearl inside (their daughter’s name is Pearl).

We’ll definitely be keeping our eyes on these two.
