Simone Biles, 26, has been teasing her wedding ever since she got engaged to her fiance now-husband, Jonathan Owens, 27. The couple has done a good job at keeping the date and location of their special ceremony a secret on social media. Well, until now.
On her Instagram Story, Biles reposted a photo shared by one of her closest friends, where the individual subtly revealed that they’re celebrating the couple’s “wedding weekend” and tagged the newlyweds.
Judging from the info shared, it’s clear the newlyweds’ (second) wedding ceremony is happening this weekend—and from the view of the outside window, the ceremony is taking place in a tropical location (and fortunately another guest's post mentions Cabo so that’d be our firm guess).
Another person (presumably a guest) shared a video on their IG Story, which shows Biles dancing happily on a hotel balcony. In the caption of the clip, they wrote, “@simonebiles turning up all weekend!!!”
If that weren’t enough, one of Biles’s closest girlfriends shared a snap of the happy bride smiling from ear to ear, captioning the pic, “Let the festivities begin!” alongside a heart-eyed emoji.
A couple of weeks ago, Biles and Owens tied the knot in a private wedding ceremony. The new bride shared in a Q&A session with fans on Instagram that they had to get married in the United States first because they planned on having a destination wedding.
