Simone Biles is about to kick off her “Gold Over America” tour, and she’s excited, to say the least.
The 24-year-old Olympian teased the start of the tour in an Instagram post on Monday, featuring an image of herself and fellow gymnasts from what appears to be a rehearsal. In the snap, we see Biles wearing a gold leotard and standing on a massive stage surrounded by six other individuals.
“T-1 day till the GOLD OVER AMERICA TOUR starts! IM SCREAMING. whose coming?? @goldoveramericatour,” she captioned the post.
And Biles isn’t the only one who’s excited about the tour. Followers shared their enthusiasm in the comments section of the post. One fan wrote, “Bringing my 3-year-old that is OBSESSED with you!!! She tries to copy your every move,” while a second person added, “My daughter and I will be there in Cleveland!! Counting down the days!”
The tour, which will include an all-star team featuring Jordan Chiles, Jade Carey and Laurie Hernandez, will stop at 35 cities across the country and showcase some of the best gymnasts in the world. The first show kicks off today in Tuscon, Arizona and continues through November 7 in Boston. Per the website, the tour “is a celebration of powerful female athletes who, together, are a united force proudly representing the sport of women’s gymnastics and inspiring the next generation of athletes.”
The official IG account of the tour also teased tonight’s kick-off by sharing a handful of rehearsal photos. “3,2,1…. It’s almost G.O.A.T. time!” the post’s caption read.
