Sarah Ferguson Posts Throwback Pic of Princess Eugenie in Honor of Her Birthday (& OMG It's *So* '90s)

Today marks Princess Eugenie's 33rd birthday, and her mom is celebrating the occasion in the best way: with a rare throwback pic.

Sarah Ferguson, 63, shared an Instagram snap of the princess as a little girl—and her stylish outfit is taking us straight back to the '90s. In the caption, the duchess wrote, "Happy Happiest of birthdays, my Eugenie. Spring flowers always tells me the excitement of your birthday is soon and here we are. You are my magical beloved daughter and I am so proud of you."

In the childhood snap, Princess Eugenie is wearing a denim jacket and button-up top with dark shades and a pink scrunchie. Naturally, the comments section was flooded with happy birthday wishes. One fan wrote, "What a lovely photo of young Eugenie." Another said, "Happy Birthday Princess Eugenie. Wishing you a wonderful day. Best wishes."

The princess's birthday comes just four days after she celebrated U.K. Mother's Day (AKA Mothering Sunday) with her 2-year-old son, August. Over the weekend, the proud mom shared a pic of herself walking with the toddler outdoors and wrote, "I love being your Mumma! Happy Mothers Day! Xx."

The royal, who's now expecting her second baby, shares August with her husband, Jack Brooksbank. News of their second child came in January, through an official announcement from Buckingham Palace. The statement read, "Princess Eugenie and Mr. Jack Brooksbank are pleased to announce they are expecting their second child this summer. The family are delighted and August is very much looking forward to being a big brother."

Sounds like the princess has plenty to celebrate these days. Happy birthday, Eugenie!
