It's been three months since Sarah Ferguson, 63, launched her new podcast, Tea Talks with the Duchess and Sarah, alongside her co-host, Sarah Thomson, 55. And in those three months, the Duchess of York has used her platform to reveal family nicknames, dish out never-before-heard stories and more. Sadly though, the first season of Tea Talks is coming to a close.

Fergie teased the final ep of Tea Talks—titled, “Luck, chance meetings and a well earned break”—with a video on her Instagram.
“Our final episode of ‘Tea Talks with the Duchess & Sarah’ is out now on all streaming platforms and at the link in my bio,” Ferguson wrote in her caption. “It has been such a joy to co-host a podcast with my friend Sarah and to have this opportunity to be completely ourselves. Thank you all for listening.”
In the snippet shared by the duchess, she discusses her breast cancer diagnosis with Thomson, and how grateful she is that she got tested.
“The greatest luck of my life has been to have a wonderful sister that coerced me to go [get] a mammogram,” the Her Heart for a Compass author says in the video. “Because I think that is something that has saved my life.”
Ferguson was diagnosed with an early form of breast cancer in June 2023, and she underwent a successful single mastectomy.
In the recording, co-host Thomson points out that this series of events has given Ferguson a completely new perspective on life. The duchess agrees, saying: “You’ve got an enormous scar, but you like yourself. You like yourself a lot. You’ve got a badge of office...You just are what you are...Which is, of course, the last thing that the Queen said to me—‘Just be yourself, Sarah.’”
More inspiring words from the duchess.
We're gonna miss this podcast, Sarah (and we'll be crossing our fingers for a second season).
