This past January marked exactly three years since Prince Harry (38) and his wife, Meghan Markle (41), officially stepped down from their senior titles. Since then, the married couple has created a life for themselves outside of the royal family by moving to California to raise their two children, Archie (3) and Lilibet (1).

Many royal spectators have shared their thoughts about the Sussexes’ decision to leave. And now, Sarah Ferguson, 63, is opening up about her feelings toward the departure.

The Duchess of York recently sat down for an exclusive interview with People to talk about the release of her new book, A Most Intriguing Lady, which is hitting shelves on March 7.

During the interview, Ferguson shared her true thoughts about the royal pair’s decision to step away from the royal family, saying that she has “no judgment.”

“I don't believe that any single person has the right to judge another person. I'm not in a position myself to make any judgments,” she told the publication. “I have been judged all my life, and I have no judgment on the Sussexes.”

Ferguson also admitted that Prince Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana, would be so proud of her grandchildren. “I think that Diana would be incredibly proud of her grandchildren. And not just the Sussex grandchildren, but Will’s children,” the royal said, referring to Kate Middleton and Prince William’s three children: Prince George (9), Princess Charlotte (7) and Prince Louis (4).

Aside from the recent interview, Ferguson also unveiled a stunning new portrait along with a very special announcement. Earlier this week, the duchess posted a photo to her Instagram page, where she is seen donning a vibrant pink suit while idly standing in front of a window with a flourishing plant right beside her.

Ferguson revealed to her supporters that she will be flying across the pond to visit New York City for an upcoming event. She wrote in the caption of the post, “I am thrilled to be joining Samantha Barry, fellow redhead and editor-in-chief at Glamour, at the 92nd Street Y in New York March 6th at 7PM EST. Click the link in my bio to get your tickets now!”

Thank you, Sarah, for being so honest and open.
