Ryan Reynolds finally broke his silence after his wife, Blake Lively, unfollowed him on Instagram.
It all started yesterday when Lively wiped her Instagram account clean and unfollowed everyone (including Reynolds) except for 28 people named Emily Nelson. The Deadpool star addressed the dis during a recent radio interview on Smallzy’s Surgery, and well, he’s not exactly thrilled.
He joked, “Definitely stings. It’s a terrible way to find out that I’ve been kicked out of the house, to be honest. Absolutely terrible. I don’t know where rage like that comes from.”
When the host asked how their two daughters—James (3) and Ines (1)—would react, Reynolds delivered a response that all parents can relate to. He said, “‘Mommy unfollowed Daddy on Instagram.’ My child would just fart and walk away.”
Earlier this week, Lively challenged her followers to a game of hangman and then proceeded to delete her entire feed. The purge is tied to her upcoming film A Simple Favor, where she plays a woman, Emily Nelson (duh), who mysteriously disappears from her small town. The movie also stars Anna Kendrick (Pitch Perfect), Henry Golding (Crazy Rich Asians), Linda Cardellini (Avengers: Age of Ultron) and Rupert Friend (Homeland).
Hey, at least Reynolds can troll his wife sans clapback for the time being. A Simple Favor will hit theaters on September 14.
