The stars are making their way down the red carpet for the 2025 Emmy Awards, which are taking place at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

Already, we’ve seen the likes of Walton Goggins from White Lotus, Isa Briones, Ben Stiller, Jennifer Coolidge and more gracing the red carpet. But there are a couple of people that caught us completely by surprise: Joella and Hormona from RuPaul’s Drag Race,  who made appearances in a Labubu costume and with a Kermit the Frog plush toy, respectively.

Joella arrived at the theater in a furry tan suit that featured classic Labubu ears. Their face could be seen through a circular cutout, with Labubu-inspired makeup completing the look. As for their outfit, the star opted to wear a traditional Chinese dress known as a Qipao or Cheongsam in a floral red color, pairing the ensemble with a brown woven hat, red shoes and a purse modeled after a Chinese takeout container.

Hormona made a Miss Piggy-esque statement in a black sequin gown, which she paired with a pink sheer robe over the top. Accompanying her to the event was a Kermit the Frog plushie dressed in a tuxedo.

RuPaul's Drag Race has plenty to celebrate this evening, as they’re nominated for two awards this year, with host RuPaul earning a nomination for “Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality Competition Program,” and the show itself earning a nom for “Outstanding Reality Competition Series,” alongside Survivor, The TraitorsThe Amazing Race and Top Chef.

The show's recap series, RuPaul’s Drag Race: Untucked, is also nominated in the “Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program” category.
