Ricky Martin Shares Steamy Bathtub Photos on Instagram to Tease Upcoming Music Video

Ricky Martin must be taking a page out of Mark Consuelos's book, because the “Livin' la Vida Loca” singer has turned his Instagram into thirst trap central (but you certainly won't find us complaining).

Yesterday, the 50-year-old musician teased an upcoming music video with a photo that appears to have been captured on set. In the pic, Martin is seen leaning out of a bathtub, dripping wet, and smiling at something off camera.

He captioned the post, “New song, new video, new moments. #soon.” Along with this cryptic description, the singer tagged Róndine Alcalá, who snapped the photo, while also crediting his makeup artist, Garret Troy Gervais, and hairstylist, Joey Nieves.

In 2021, Martin released two singles as a lead artist, following the release of his EP Pausa in 2020. However, he has not released a full-length album since 2015.

The photo certainly generated a lot of excitement amongst his fans, who left heart emojis in the comments. Meanwhile, fellow musicians commented loads of fire emojis.

Last month, Martin posted another photo that appears to have been taken from the same set. In this shot however, the camera is zoomed out and we get a full shot of the singer laying in the bathtub. In his caption, Martin said, “A day in the office #videoshoot #newsingle,” while once again tagging Róndine Alcalá.

Fans were equally enamored, saying things like, “That’s the kinda home office I’d like!” Martin's own husband, Jwan Yosef, even commented on this first photo, saying, “Oh HELLO,” with a heart-eyed emoji.

While it's unclear when Martin's new music video will be released, we'll be keeping an eye out for more teases. (And if these are just the preview images, we can't even imagine what the video will be like.)
