Here’s Why Former Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay Had 2 Wedding Bands Made

Now that Rachel Lindsay has finally tied the knot with Bryan Abasolo after a two-year engagement, Neil Lane is opening up about the couple’s new wedding bands and how the former Bachelorette, 34, was so indecisive that she ended up achieving major jewelry goals.

Lane recently sat down for an interview with People magazine and revealed that Lindsay took home not one, but two bands. “Rachel was torn between two very different rings with two very different, but equally beautiful, styles,” he said.

Although it was a first for Lane, they decided to move forward with one ring to match Lindsay’s engagement ring from Abasolo, along with an additional one-of-a-kind design.

“I’ve never done two bands before but when we were looking at options, Rachel was drawn to one that would match her traditional, pear-shaped diamond engagement ring and then at the same time she kept looking at the yellow gold band too,” the jeweler continued.

Lindsay’s first ring consists of a traditional eternity band, which is covered in more than 100 small round diamonds. The second one is a 18-carat gold handmade ring, which has 165 small yellow diamonds.

“At the end of the day, we made both and so she’ll wear the white one on some days, the yellow on other days and then sometimes she will wear both,” Lane said. “And why not? It doubles the sparkle!”

As for Abasolo, the 39-year-old opted for a classic platinum wedding band with a “comfort fit,” which means the inside of the ring is curved to ensure long-term wear.

“Bryan was easy breezy and knew quickly what he liked,” Lane added.

When in doubt, get both.
