Queen Elizabeth Will Likely Gift Prince Harry & Meghan Markle with *This* Iconic Residence

Forget the KitchenAid mixer and Airbnb gift card, the queen has something much more special planned for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding gift.

Queen Elizabeth will reportedly present the newlyweds with a home (read: mansion) in honor of their May 19 nuptials. While we don’t know where the property will be located, many royal aficionados are placing their bets on the York Cottage in Sandringham, which is where King George V and Queen Mary resided from 1893 to 1925, according to reports.

This isn’t the first time the queen went above and beyond for a present. In fact, she gifted Anmer Hall, a massive country house in Norfolk, to Prince William and Kate Middleton prior to welcoming their first child, Prince George, in 2013.

Sure, Prince Harry and Markle, who are currently residing in Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace, asked their wedding guests to donate to charity in place of a traditional gift, but can you really blame them for making an exception?
