A Toddler Dressed Up as Queen Elizabeth for Halloween (& Her Majesty Had the Best Reaction)

Ladies and gents, allow us to introduce you to Queen Elizabeth's 1-year-old mini-me, Jalayne Sutherland.

In 2021, the toddler from Ohio celebrated Halloween by channeling her inner queen, and it's safe to say that Her Majesty approves. In a series of pics that were originally posted by Jalayne's mother, Katelyn, the smiling 1-year-old is sporting a white wig with a blue jacket, a matching boater hat and the queen's favorite accessory: a pearl necklace. Jalayne even donned a pair of gloves and carried a little purse to match her shoes. But the best part? Her two corgis—also known as the queen's favorite breed.

After Katelyn mailed pictures of the costume to Buckingham Palace, the lucky family received a response from the queen, written by her lady-in-waiting, the Hon. Dame Mary Anne Morrison. Per Today, it reads, "The Queen wishes me to write and thank you for your letter, and for the photograph you thoughtfully enclosed. Her Majesty thought it kind of you to write to her, and The Queen was pleased to see the photograph of your daughter, Jalayne, in her splendid outfit."

She continued, "Her Majesty hopes you all have a very Merry Christmas, and I am enclosing a little information about the Royal Pets, which Jalayne might like to have."

In response, Jalayne's mom shared another pic of her daughter proudly posing with the letter—complete with her white wig and brimmed hat.

Jalayne isn't the only one who has dressed up as the queen for Halloween. Back in 2018, Chrissy Teigen also paid tribute to the monarch by sporting her signature look, including a teal coat and wide-brimmed hat with a gray wig. Meanwhile, John Legend was decked out in military gear as Her Majesty's late husband, Prince Philip.

No offense to Chrissy, but Jalayne totally takes first place for this costume.
