Queen Consort Camilla Just Wore *This* Stunning Piece Once Belonging to Queen Elizabeth

Queen Consort Camilla carried a small piece of the late Queen Elizabeth with her to King Charles’s first state banquet since ascending to the throne.

According to People, the royal couple attended a state banquet held at Buckingham Palace last night. Camilla simply dazzled in a Belgian Sapphire Tiara at the extravagant function. She paired the piece with a matching necklace and donned a blue lace gown designed by Bruce Oldfield and the honorary blue Order of the Garter sash.

And royal admirers would be happy to know the sapphire accessory previously belonged to her mother-in-law, Queen Elizabeth. Her Majesty wore the tiara on two special occasions: her trip to Singapore in 1989 and Chinese President Xi Jinping’s state visit to the United Kingdom in 2015.

And Camilla wasn’t the only royal to wear a stunning tiara to the special state banquet at Buckingham Palace yesterday. Kate Middleton made her grand debut as the Princess of Wales at the event. She looked absolutely regal in a white gown by Jenny Packham, which featured cape-like sleeves and bejeweled shoulders. She paired the beautiful gown with Queen Mary’s Lover’s Knot tiara—an accessory that was a notable favorite of the late Princess Diana

What a beautiful nod to the late queen.
