Queen Camilla has been seriously slaying with her jewelry game lately—and I am so here for it. From multi-million-dollar brooches to royal heirlooms we haven’t seen in nearly a century, her collection is quietly becoming one of the most talked-about parts of any royal appearance. And her recent outing? No exception.

On July 1, Queen Camilla joined King Charles at the annual Holyroodhouse Garden Party in Edinburgh, which kicks off a week-long celebration of Scottish culture and tradition. While she looked elegant as ever in a custom powder blue Fiona Clare dress and a perfectly matched Philip Treacy hat, it was her brooch that really stole the show—and for good reason.

Camilla wore the Diamond Thistle Brooch, a stunning piece rich in Scottish symbolism. The thistle is Scotland’s national emblem, officially adopted in 1822 for King George IV’s historic visit to the country—though its ties to Scottish identity go back even further. By choosing this piece, Camilla wasn’t just accessorizing, she was paying homage to Scottish heritage and her own royal history.

She previously debuted the brooch during Holyrood Week last year, shortly after being invested into the Most Ancient and Most Noble Order of the Thistle, Scotland’s highest order of chivalry.

But there’s more. The brooch has royal lineage too. It once belonged to Queen Mary, grandmother to Queen Elizabeth II and wife of King George V. Per The Royal Watcher, the piece was designed by Edward & Sons, it was gifted to Queen Mary in 1927 and has now found new life in Camilla’s rotation of meaningful, historic jewels.

One thing’s for sure—Queen Camilla knows how to make a statement without saying a word. Keep the iconic accessories coming, Your Majesty.
