It’s no secret that wardrobe malfunctions occasionally happen, which is why Priyanka Chopra added an extra layer of protection (literally) during the Grammy Awards.

The Quantico alum, 37, recently attended the 62nd annual ceremony alongside her husband, Nick Jonas. Chopra wore a stunning white embroidered gown by Ralph & Russo, which featured a plunging neckline that fell just below her belly button.

While discussing the dress in an interview with Us Weekly, the actress revealed that it was specifically designed to withstand any mishaps on the red carpet.

Ralph & Russo, whenever they make couture for me or custom outfits for me, they always do them fitted to my body, keeping [wardrobe malfunctions] in mind,” she said.

The secret was a nearly invisible piece of fabric that was sewn into the inside of the dress. That explains how Chopra could move her arms and bend down without having to worry about the girls falling out. *Cough, Janet Jackson, cough*

“So as much as people might think it would be hard to manage, they found this incredible tulle the same color as my skin tone and sort of held the dress together with that,” she added. “So, you can’t even see it in the pictures but there was no way it would have happened if they didn’t have that. It was like a netting.”

Chopra revealed that comfort is a requirement when choosing red carpet looks. “I don’t leave unless I’m super secure,” she explained. “I don’t like wardrobe malfunctions! Nobody does!”

We’re totally stealing this invisible fabric idea.
