One standout photo shows August during his joint christening ceremony with Zara and Mike Tindall's son, Lucas. The private event was held at the Royal Chapel of All Saints in Windsor and featured a royally star-studded guest list, including Princess Anne, Sarah Furguson, Prince William and Kate Middleton.
In the heartwarming pic, August is sporting an intricate lace gown—a style very similar to the gear we've seen on Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis during their christenings. Meanwhile, the Princess of York, who holds August on her lap, appears to be donning an all-white ensemble.
In case you missed it, the 31-year-old royal gave birth on February 8, 2021, and marked the occasion with a sweet Instagram post. She wrote, “We wanted to introduce you to August Philip Hawke Brooksbank. Thank you for so many wonderful messages. Our hearts are full of love for this little human, words can't express. We are excited to be able to share these photos with you.”
Aside from the christening photo, the post includes shots of Brooksbank cradling the newborn and Eugene taking August for a scenic walk. The princess also paid tribute to her late grandfather by including a throwback of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip. One follower wrote, "That’s a particularly lovely picture of your grandparents! Happy New Year to you and your beautiful family."
Here's hoping we'll see more glimpses of baby August this year.
