Though Princess Diana died in 1997, her legacy lives on—in her work, her sons and her family. Her brother, Charles Spencer, is particularly active in keeping his family's history alive, regularly sharing photographs, paintings, facts and more on his Instagram account. His latest post is a tender portrait of himself and their mother, dated 1966.

"My mother would have been 90 this month. This is her as I first remember her, when she was 30," he wrote in the caption. Fans were quick to call out the family resemblances, with many saying they could see the late princess in their mother's features. They also made a comparison I didn't see coming—that Prince George resembles his great-uncle. The chubby cheeks and mop of blonde hair certainly evoked a baby Prince George.

Prior to this photograph, the last image Spencer shared of his childhood was a sweet snap of himself with Princess Diana.

"A long ago summer, by the swimming pool at our childhood home, Park House, Sandringham—Diana and I both proudly showing off our swimming badges (sewn onto our swimming costumes)," he recalled. "These were awarded (sparingly) by Mrs. Lansdowne, a fairly terrifying but very gifted swimming instructor, who came to stay each year. We were never out of that pool."

It's touching to see him continue to keep his family history alive.
