Even royals get excited when they spot themselves on the big screen.

In a newly-surfaced video from the 2023 Wimbledon tournament, Princess Charlotte (8) is seen happily watching as Carlos Alcaraz celebrates his championship victory, until she realizes she's on the Jumbotron (and some of the cheers are actually for her).

One royal follower shared the video to her Twitter account, writing: “One of my favourite Princess Charlotte moments from Wimbledon this year!”

In the clip, we can hear one of the broadcasters referring to Princess Charlotte in the background, as he says: “And she's very happy that Carlos won.”

Ever the composed 8-year-old, Princess Charlotte calmly sat there as she realized that she was on screen (she is a master of royal etiquette after all).

However, she did get quite lively during the match, where she was seen dramatically responding to the events of the game and cheering loudly next to her older brother, Prince George (10).

This was the first time that Princess Charlotte had ever attended the event, joining her parents, Prince William (41) and Kate Middleton (41). Meanwhile, it was only the second time that Prince George had been to the tennis championship.

The youngest member of the Wales family, Prince Louis (5), was not in attendance, and we certainly missed his silly faces and overall hijinks. Luckily, his sister made up for his absence by making a few of her own silly faces during the match, which caught our attention.

The game is fun, but we'll really be looking forward to Princess Charlotte returning to the Wimbledon stands next year.
