Prince William & Kate Middleton Had a Tea Party with a Young Patient in Pakistan

Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, just had a super-special tea party during their royal tour of Pakistan.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge recently visited the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital in Lehore, where they met a 7-year-old patient named Wafia.

Not missing a beat, the couple immediately went into parenting mode and joined the young girl for a tea party, complete with plastic tiaras. (Duh.)

Kensington Palace shared a slideshow of photos on its official Instagram account featuring the adorable interaction. While there’s no denying that Middleton looks completely in her element, we highly applaud Prince William for his superb dad acting skills, like when he dramatically sipped from his teacup and played with a stethoscope.

The caption read, “The @ShaukatKhanum Memorial Cancer Hospital was built by Pakistan Prime Minister @ImranKhan.pti—who The Duke and Duchess met earlier on their visit to Pakistan—and is Pakistan’s largest tertiary care cancer hospital.”

The Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital holds a special place in the royal family’s hearts, since Princess Diana previously visited the facility in 1996 and 1997.

This isn’t the first time Prince William and Middleton honored the late princess during the royal tour. Earlier this week, the couple met with the Pakistani prime minister, Imran Khan, who is an old friend of Lady Di’s.

Way to go, Will and Kate.
