Prince Harry Is Caught on Camera Wearing Strange Accessory—and I Can’t Get Over What’s Written Underneath It

On Friday, May 9, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped out for a very special date night and luckily for us, they documented the whole thing on the 'Gram. Where did they go, you ask? The couple went to see Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter concert at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. (Yeah, I'm jealous too.)

For the show, Meghan Markle stunned in an off-the-shoulder denim dress, while Prince Harry donned a black shirt with black pants and a gray jacket. He finished the look with a matching cowboy hat—and that's the accessory that has me doing a double take.

“About last night…. Thank you @beyonce and team for an amazing concert (and a very fun date night)! All love,” Meghan captioned a series of images on Instagram on Saturday, May 10.

And if you scroll through the pictures (special shoutout to the video on slide four of Harry giving his wife a sweet peck on the cheek!), you'll see a close up of Harry's cowboy hat—specifically, what is embossed underneath.

In the final image captioned "My husband's hat gets a twirl," you can clearly see that Harry's hat has the words "Archie" "Lili" and "My Love" written underneath. So cute, right? I can only assume that the hat was a gift from Meghan for the occasion (she has previously referred to her husband as "my love" on social media, most recently this past Valentine's Day).

This isn't the first time the couple have made an appearance at one of Beyoncé's shows— they last attended one of her L.A. shows on her Renaissance World Tour back in September 2023. 

The couple's outing came on the heels of them celebrating their son Archie's sixth birthday, as well as after Prince Harry lost an appeal for publicly funded security in the U.K. So yeah, seems like the duo could definitely use a night out!

Now the only question is—does Meghan have a matching cowboy hat? I'll keep my eyes on her Instagram to find out.
