The royal met with veterans, thanked the staff and watched the opening ceremony alongside other spectators. Prince Harry wore a casual outfit featuring denim pants and a black polo. (Of course, his shirt had an Invictus Games logo.)
Later that day, he had an outfit change for his appearance at City Hall. The Duke of Sussex wore a mismatched suit, featuring khaki pants, a black jacket and a light blue shirt.
Prince Harry arrived in Düsseldorf last Friday with a jam-packed itinerary. The royal seemingly left his wife, 42, and his two children, Archie (4) and Lilibet (2), in California. This shouldn’t come as a huge surprise, since Markle usually stays home with the children when her husband travels across the pond. However, according to People magazine, the duchess is reportedly traveling to Germany sometime this week.
Prince Harry founded the Invictus Games in 2014 to honor veterans in a Paralympic-style competition. He recently launched a Netflix documentary, Heart of Invictus, which follows “a group of competitors as they train for the 2022 Invictus Games, a global sporting event founded by Prince Harry for wounded service members,” according to the official Netflix synopsis.
We’re just happy to see Prince Harry back in action.
