Prince Harry is opening up about the pressure he feels raising a child in today’s world, and his candor will make every parent say, “Same.”
Earlier today, the Duke of Sussex, 35, wrote an open letter for African Parks, a non-profit organization that aims to rehabilitate and maintain national parks. Prince Harry explained how his mindset has changed since becoming a father to Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
“Since becoming a father, I feel the pressure is even greater to ensure we can give our children the future they deserve, a future that hasn’t been taken from them, and a future full of possibility and opportunity,” he wrote, according to Express. “I want us all to be able to tell our children that yes, we saw this coming, and with the determination and help from an extraordinary group of committed individuals, we did what was needed to restore these essential ecosystems.”
Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, are currently residing at their new home in Los Angeles. The duke went on to say that he hopes his actions will ensure Archie can experience nature the same way he did as a child.
