Prince Charles is showing his appreciation for the guards who participated in Prince Philip’s funeral service.
On Wednesday, the Prince of Wales visited the group at their barracks in Windsor. During the engagement, Charles met the guards from divisions like The Prince of Wales’s Company, presented non-operational awards and viewed the Battalion’s new memorial.
According to Clarence House, the Welsh Guards were present at the funeral of the Duke of Edinburgh, lining the Quadrangle at Windsor Castle. To show his thanks, the prince took a moment to give in a heartwarming speech. (Swipe to see the video.)
