Pamela Anderson Goes Makeup-Free During Latest Red Carpet Appearance

Anderson making the decision to not wear makeup during public appearances has garnered praise from celebs and non-celebs alike. And the story behind the Pamela, A Love Story star embracing her natural beauty and going makeup-free is even more impactful.

Back in August, Anderson sat down with Elle and explained that she stopped wearing makeup because of her makeup artist, Alexis Vogel, who had passed away from breast cancer.

“She was the best,” Anderson revealed to the publication. “And since then, I just felt, without Alexis, it’s just better for me not to wear makeup.”

Since putting down the makeup brush, Anderson shared that the experience has been “freeing” as well as “fun and a little rebellious, too.”

She explained, “Because I did notice that there were all these people doing big makeup looks, and it’s just like me to go against the grain and do the opposite of what everyone’s doing.”
