The Most Popular Member of the Royal Family Is…

most popular royal queen elizabeth

The results are in! And now, we can finally answer the age-old question: Who’s the most popular member of the royal family?

According to this brand-new poll—which was conducted by YouGovQueen Elizabeth is at the very top of the list, with a positive rating of 85 percent. (This is an increase from last month’s score of 80 percent.)

We’re not totally surprised by the news, since the 95-year-old monarch has remained a noteworthy role model for many people in the U.K., even after the tragic death of her husband, Prince Philip. Still, we didn’t expect so many citizens to have such strong opinions about certain members of the royal family.

Although Queen Elizabeth is followed by Prince William (80 percent), Kate Middleton (78 percent), Princess Anne (70 percent) and Prince Charles (58 percent), the bottom of the list is super telling. It features Prince Edward (54 percent), Prince Harry (43 percent), Camilla Parker Bowles (43 percent), Meghan Markle (29 percent) and Prince Andrew (10 percent).

To obtain the results, YouGov surveyed more than 1,700 people in Great Britain throughout the month. The subjects were asked a variety of questions about the royal family, including whether they have a positive or a negative opinion about each member of the royal family.

All we have to say is…poor Camilla Parker Bowles.
