Mindy Kaling is a woman of many talents. She’s an actress, comedian, screenwriter, producer and let’s be real, she’s behind some of the best TV in recent years. The Office? Iconic. Never Have I Ever? Comfort show. The Sex Lives of College Girls? Absolutely bingeable. But lately, Mindy’s added a new title to her growing list: fashionista.

From her fiery red blazer dress to her dreamy vacation fits, she’s been absolutely thriving in the style department. And her latest post, though not fashion related, still proves that point. It’s all about making homemade pasta sauce.

“Some home cooks make their own pasta sauce and are like ‘once you make it from scratch you can never go back.’ I’m usually like ‘you don’t know how lazy I am actually!’ But not this time… Except my daughter who only eats tortellini with butter! Enjoy!”

But let’s be honest, while the sauce looked delicious, fans in the comments were laser-focused on something else: that dress. Mindy wore a stunning blue-green number, covered in floral and animal print patterns and the internet took notice.

“THE DRESS THOUGH!!”
“Super cute dress!”
“What a gorgeous color dress on her!”

Even the designer, Isla Resort, slid into the comments to say, “Our dress has never looked better.”

The dress totally fits with the rest of Mindy’s summer wardrobe, which has included floral outfits from Faithfull the Brand, Farm Rio and even a jumpsuit from Loft on her recent Hawaii trip.

Moral of the story? Whether she’s in the kitchen or on vacation, Mindy Kaling’s style is a whole mood. And if this is what summer looks like, we cannot wait to see what she’s got planned for fall.
