Many fans believe that Anora star Mikey Madison is a top contender for the Best Actress Oscar Award, especially after she beat out Demi Moore at the BAFTAs. The jury is still out on who will win the statuette, but if I know one thing for certain, it’s that her 2025 Academy Awards dress has big shoes to fill.
Madison recently attended the 31st annual SAG Awards at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles and walked the red carpet in a stunning dress by Louis Vuitton.
Madison wore a silky silver gown that featured a bustier top and floor-length skirt. The real star of the show was the pleated bow that wrapped around her waist, creating a dramatic silhouette.
The Better Things star styled her hair in her signature ’do, including a middle part with straight locks that fell down her back, and accessorized with silver heels and a diamond necklace from Tiffany & Co.
Madison revealed that choosing her dress for the SAG Awards was a no-brainer. “When I tried it on, I fell in love with the color,” she said (according to Yahoo!). “For a dress to be this stunning and comfortable felt like a fairytale.”
The Anora star also revealed that her makeup (particularly her red lipstick) was inspired by old Hollywood glamour. “[My style icons are] film stars of the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s,” she explained. “I think I really romanticize those eras of cinema and, of course, the leading ladies too.”
