Did Meghan Markle's Baby Shower Cookies Just Give Away the Gender of Her and Prince Harry's Baby?

While hates-the-spotlight Prince Harry has been off serving hot lunches to at-risk youth and overseeing Royal Marines training sessions, we've been poring over every detail of Meghan Markle's lavish baby shower/weekend in NYC.

And one deet we couldn't not share: the baby shower cookies. Markle's makeup-artist-slash-BFF Daniel Martin posted a picture of the iced sugar cookies (presumably served at said shower held in the Upper East Side's Mark hotel) to his Instagram—and social media collectively and immediately exploded with gender theories.

Just us, or is that light baby blue/green icing? IT'S A BOY, Y'ALL!

But wait, is that baby rattle sorta...off? Why is it so angular? It sorta looks like the female symbol of gender (which denotes Venus, and looks like a circle on top of a cross)...so that means IT'S A GIRL, YOU GUYS!

OK, so we don’t actually know for sure…but we’re leaning more toward one, and we don’t know how to contain our excitement.

Whatever Baby Sussex is, we know Markle and Prince Harry will be ecstatic (although Harry has definitely said he wants a girl, so…).

Yesterday, the duchess celebrated with a bunch of celeb friends at the Mark hotel: Serena Williams, Amal Clooney and former Suits co-star Abigail Spencer were all in attendance. (And Clooney sparked rumors thanks to her gift-wrapping, but that’s something else entirely.)

Guess we'll just have to wait 'til late April or early May to know for sure (and by wait, we mean scrutinize every color of every duchess outfit choice from now 'til then).
