We Have Definitive Proof That Meghan Markle's Dinner Plans Are Way Fancier than Yours

The Duchess of Sussex might do her own cooking while at home in London, but on vacay in New York City, she likes to dine out in style.

Meghan Markle, who is approximately seven-months pregnant, took a trip back home to the U.S. this weekend. After her day out in NYC, Markle was spotted on her way out to dinner with celeb friends at Ralph Lauren's Polo Bar yesterday—and, wow, that sounds way fancier than avocado toast and tea, Your Highness.

For her night out in the Big Apple, Markle wore black faux calf-hair Tamara Mellon boots, a blue Victoria Beckham coat, Hatch maternity jeans and carried a black vegan leather Stella McCartney Falabella tote.

Markle dined at the Midtown bar and restaurant, which boasts upscale classics like a burger for $28, caviar (market price, obvi) and the Polo crab cake for $20, with tennis superstar Serena Williams and Markus Anderson, a SoHo house executive and longtime friend of the duchess's.

A fancy dinner at the polo-themed bar? We wonder if Markle's already missing her polo-playing husband Prince Harry (after all, her trip cut their Valentine's Day weekend short).

Earlier in the day, at what was rumored to be her own baby shower in NYC's Upper East Side, Markle was spotted wearing an all-black ensemble. Friends like her BFF stylist Jessica Mulroney, Williams, Priyanka Chopra, Amal Clooney, Misha Nonoo and Markle's Suits co-star Abigail Spencer were all reportedly invited. The duchess and her friends celebrated her first child, due in late April or early May.

We just hope you saved some fries for us, Megs... (We need to eat our emotions after our lost shower invite, OK?!)
