ICYMI: Prince Charles is turning the big 7-0 this November. Although we’re already crossing our fingers for a Prince Louis cameo during the celebrations, we aren’t holding our breath for an appearance by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
You see, Prince Charles is celebrating his birthday three weeks early with a concert and dinner at Buckingham Palace. The festivities just so happen to overlap with the couple’s first royal tour, which consists of a two-week excursion throughout Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and the Kingdom of Tonga.
We can’t deny that turning 70 is a pretty big deal, but you should know that Prince Harry and Markle already celebrated the prince’s birthday. Shortly after the royal wedding, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended a garden party in honor of the birthday boy, so we don’t blame them for ditching round two.
