Body Language Expert Decodes Meghan Markle's Gestures on Her New Netflix Show

Stanton also noted that Markle's genuine passion shined through as she engaged with guests, adding, "You can tell through Meghan’s gestures and body language in the show that she is genuinely enjoying herself and feels passionate about the project. Her face is completely engaged in a lot of the clips, and she displays plenty of open-palm gestures, which tells me that she is being completely authentic...There were a lot of big hugs with friends who came on the show. This further demonstrates her openness and her confidence."

As for Markle's comments to Mindy Kaling on her royal title, Stanton said this proves she is proud of her royal connection.

In case you've yet to see the episode, the brief exchange occurs when Kaling says, "People wouldn’t believe that Meghan Markle ate at Jack in the Box." Then, Markle responds, "It’s so funny, too, that you keep saying Meghan Markle. You know I’m Sussex now. You have kids and you go, ‘No, I share my name with my children.’ I didn’t know how meaningful that would be to me, but it just means so much to go, this is our family name, our little family name."

Stanton observed, “There was a flash of surprise from Mindy Kaling when Meghan corrected her about the name from Markle to Sussex. It shows pride in her relationship with Harry, but also her accepting and being completely open to her royal status. Meghan is clearly proud to be a part of the family. Her relationship with Harry also appears stronger than ever.”
