Meghan & Harry Privately Wished a Happy Anniversary to Kate and William

Kate Middleton and Prince William rang in a decade of marriage this week. And while they received tons of public well-wishes from fans and loved ones, we were wondering whether or not Meghan Markle and Prince Harry had reached out to the couple.

On Thursday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary. In honor of the milestone, not only did the couple release a never-before-seen video on Instagram featuring themselves and their three children—George, Charlotte and Louis—but Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles shared well wishes to Kate and Prince William as well.

Sharing two new portraits of the royal duo, Queen Elizabeth wrote, “Wishing The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge a very happy wedding anniversary. Today marks ten years since Their Royal Highnesses exchanged vows at Westminster Abbey.”

In addition, per a new People exclusive, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex privately congratulated the couple on their anniversary. However, the outlet was not specific on whether they did so via phone or video message.

We’re not surprised that the couple opted to take the private route. In their defense, they currently don’t have a running social media account on which to share a public post. The duo closed their Sussex Royal Instagram account last March when they decided to step down as senior members of the royal family.

Harry recently reunited with Kate and William for the first time this month when he traveled across the pond to attend Prince Philip’s funeral. After the service, the two brothers even took a moment to have a private conversation.

We’re hoping for a Fab Four reunion in the not-too-distant future.
