While Ryan Seacrest was absent from Live this morning, Kelly Ripa was joined by a special guest co-host who successfully helped hold down the fort.
On today's episode of Live with Kelly and Ryan, the show host was accompanied by her husband, Mark Consuelos. After being introduced by the announcer, Deja Vu, the couple walked out holding hands and greeted the viewers.
Ripa rocked a black and white floral dress with hot pink colored high heels. Meanwhile, Consuelos wore a dark, navy blue long-sleeve shirt with a pair of denim jeans and all-white sneakers. When he pulled out the chair for Ripa, the gesture was met with a loud round of applause from those in the studio.
Fans were very excited to see Consuelos return as a guest host on Live today. “Love when Mark is on!!!! So fun!” one fan wrote on Instagram. In agreement, another fan chimed in and said, “Omg you guys were on fire this morning! So good!” with multiple red heart emojis.
This is the second time this week Consuelos appeared on Live. This past Monday, the Riverdale star made a special appearance on the show (over video chat).
On Valentine’s Day, Ripa and her husband competed against three other couples in a game of marriage trivia. The married couples were tested to see who knows their partner better and Ripa and Consuelos emerged victorious.
