Ryan Seacrest Just Made His Glorious Return to ‘Live’ (and He Matched with Kelly Ripa)

For the past week, Ryan Seacrest took a break from his co-hosting gig on Live with Kelly and Ryan, allowing pals like Mark Consuelos and Dondré Whitfield to fill his post. Now, he has made his triumphant return, and he's doing it in festive fashion.

Seacrest resumed his role this morning in an episode that was previewed on Instagram. Producers captioned the clip, “You’re invited to our Holiday Sweater Party happening right now! Thanks @uglysweaterusa for these sweaters.”

In the video, Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest are back to their matching ways, wearing complementary red and blue sweaters that were customized with text that said, “Live with me and” over an arrow pointing at the other person.

Announcer Deja Vu introduced the pair, saying, “Here are your comfy, cozy co-hosts, Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest!” As Seacrest pulled out Ripa's chair for her, he said, “Hey guys! Lookin' good.”

Along with their matching sweaters, the pair also wore Christmas-themed accessories, with Ripa donning an ornament-covered headband and Seacrest blocking out the Grinches with a pair of Christmas-tree sunglasses.

We were given another glimpse of their outfits in a different post that was shared on the Live Instagram account, where they said, “Our Holiday Sweater party was so fun! Thanks @uglysweaterusa for these sweaters!”

Fans loved the pair's matching tops, with one user commenting, “OMG LOVE IT,” and another saying, “I love the sweaters great idea.”

Ripa and Seacrest have never been ones to ignore the holiday season. Last year, around the same time, the pair were seen wearing a different pair of matching sweaters that featured each other's faces. This was followed by matching Yoda sweaters and gingerbread headbands.

We're glad to see they haven't lost their Christmas spirit. What a way for Seacrest to make his return.
