Even celebrities like Taylor Swift have their fangirl moments, and she just had the best interaction with one of her TV heroes.

In a recent Instagram post, Mariska Hargitay (who is known for playing Olivia Benson on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit) revealed that she named her new cat after Swift's Midnights track, “Karma.” This was, of course, a full circle moment for the 33-year-old singer, who named her cat Olivia Benson years prior.

Hargitay shared the news by posting a pair of photos featuring her new furry friend. In the caption, she wrote, “Karma is a Cat @taylorswift Meet Karma. My Cat. [cat emoji].” She also added a few cheeky hashtags, where she put her own spin on some of Swift’s “Karma” lyrics: “#MeAndKarmaVibeLikeThat #AndIKeepMySideOfMyPawClean #KarmaIsACat.”

This name choice couldn't have been more fitting, given that one of the lines in Swift’s track goes: “Sweet like honey, karma is a cat / Purring in my lap 'cause it loves me.”

Unsurprisingly, the singer-songwriter jumped in the comments to share her excitement, writing, “Are you serious?!!!! Nothing has ever come more full circle [red circle emoji]. LOVE THIS SO MUCH!! [cat with heart eyes emoji].”

As devoted Swifties likely know, Swift loves to name her cats after some of her favorite TV and film characters. Along with Olivia Benson, who she named after Hargitay’s Law & Order character, she's also the proud mom of Meredith Grey (based on Ellen Pompeo’s Grey’s Anatomy character) and Benjamin Button (based on Brad Pitt’s titular role from The Curious Case of Benjamin Button).

In 2014, the Eras Tour headliner told Rolling Stone that she chose the names Meredith and Olivia because they were based on “strong, complex, independent women.” Swift is such a fan of the actresses that she even featured them in her Video of the Year-winning visual for her song “Bad Blood.”

Now, the furry Olivia Benson (who is a Scottish Fold) has become somewhat of a feline phenomenon, having appeared in TV commercials, music videos and more. In the Pet Rich List posted at the beginning of this year, they estimated that Olivia is worth around $97 million (no joke).
