MAC Is Giving Away Lipstick for National Lipstick Day!

If your lipstick collection could use a few new additions, you’re in luck.

In honor of National Lipstick Day (yes, it’s a thing), MAC is giving away full-size samples to paying customers.

Stores across the U.S. will be celebrating the annual holiday from July 27 to July 29. Although shoppers must make a purchase to participate, there are two ways to do so:

First, MAC will be giving away a free lipstick to every customer who spends $25. (The color is CB96, a bright pinky-orange with pearl undertones.)

Next, if the total surpasses $50, customers will also receive a free Lipstick Canister to hold the new goodies.

During the sale, MAC is also inviting customers to try a complimentary lip demo, so shoppers can explore the brand’s 350 shades before making a purchase.

According to Gregory Arlt, the director of makeup artistry for MAC, the goal is to encourage women to express themselves through cosmetics.

“Aside from the amazing colors and textures, one of the things I love most about MAC lipsticks are their power to truly express who you are; your individuality, your power, and your strength regardless of your age, race, or gender,” he said in a statement. “They’re for everyone.”

If you aren’t able to visit a MAC store during National Lipstick Day, don’t sweat. Customers can still receive a complimentary lipstick all-year-long thanks to the Back to MAC program. (All you need to do is return six empty MAC makeup containers to receive your prize.)
