Lindsay Lohan just proved that black is the new pink.

Last night, the 37-year-old actress attended the New York premiere of the Mean Girls musical movie, which hits theaters on January 12 before its streaming release on Paramount+. Lohan walked the red pink carpet in a stunning black floor-length dress by Alexandre Vauthier.

The gown featured long sleeves and a high neckline that drew attention to the large bodice cutout, which was tied together with a sparkly belt. It also had a center slit that showed off her black strappy shoes.

Lohan styled her red hair in loose waves that stood out against the black fabric. She completed the look with minimal jewelry, including a bracelet and earrings.

The new Mean Girls movie will put a musical spin on the iconic 2004 film. It will tell the same story as the original, but it will feature a (mostly) new cast, plus dance numbers.

The story line follows a teenager named Cady Heron (Angourie Rice) who attends public school for the first time. She meets a group of girls called the Plastics—Regina George (Reneé Rapp), Gretchen Weiners (Bebe Wood) and Karen Smith (Avantika Vandanapu)—who introduce her to girl world.

Tina Fey—who helmed both the original movie and the musical version—will reprise her role as Ms. Norbury, along with Tim Meadows (Principal Duvall). The movie will also feature modern-day revivals of fan-favorite characters, including Aaron Samuels (Christopher Briney), Mrs. Heron (Jenna Fischer), Janice (Auli'i Cravalho), Damian (Jaquel Spivey) and Mrs. George (Busy Phillips).

This is so fetch.
