Kristen Bell, Ina Garten & Antoni Porowski Just Debuted Our New Favorite Kitchenware
Alone, the names Kristen Bell, Ina Garten and Antoni Porowski bring a smile to our face. Together, they’re enough to make us want to bake a pie from scratch in celebration. So when we heard The Good Place star, Cook Like a Pro maven and Queer Eye cuisine expert were all partnering with Williams Sonoma for its fifth annual Tools for Change fundraising initiative benefitting No Kid Hungry, we were pretty excited.
Every year, Williams Sonoma partners with cooking personalities and celebrities to help end childhood hunger. This year, the company aims to raise $2.5 million, which would provide children in need with 25 million meals—so it’s a good thing Bell, Garten and Porowski designed kitchen tools we wouldn’t mind adding to our arsenal.
Porowski leaned into his personal brand when it came time to create his Williams Sonoma spatula. In his own handwriting, he wrote “Share your food! – Antoni.” This message calls to mind Porowski’s message on Queer Eye, where he teaches individuals in need of some help cooking for friends and family. The handwriting also reminds us of a leather jacket he wore in season three, episode one that had the pun “thyme is on my side” scrawled on the back.
Queen Ina took a similar cue from Porowski and kept her spatula simple and on-brand. She wrote, “Cook like a pro! Xxx Ina.” It’s almost like really getting hugged by Garten herself. With that kind of encouragement, we can totally attempt to make her shrimp bisque again.
In addition to the dynamic trio, Williams Sonoma also partnered with host Andy Cohen, actress Vanessa Hudgens, food personality Guy Fieri, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Lisa Vanderpump, actress Olivia Munn, singer Trisha Yearwood, TV anchor Al Roker, restauranteur/chef José Andrés, baker Amirah Kassem, influencer Hannah Hart, restauranteur/chef Sean Brock and cook Gaby Dalkin.
