Kristen Bell Is Doing Her Darnedest to Get a Dog Named Frank Adopted

Kristen Bell—actress, mother, entrepreneur and now animal activist? Yup, seems like the Good Place actress is adding one more item to her resume: advocating for the adoption of canines.

The philanthropist has been very vocal in the past about her passion for pets, including the fostering and adopting of her own furry BFFs. But more recently, Bell’s social media pages have been urging others to do the same: AKA adopt, not shop.

On Tuesday, the 38-year-old posted a series of photos and videos to her Instagram of a dog named Frank, who is in need of adoption.

“If anyone is interested, there is a very sad/worried boy named Frank in need of adoption at the @lancasteranimalslaco !!!” she captioned the post. “FRANK #A5285554 2yo Male is day around 40lbs-ish. Littlest legs. #flippers #sausageroll . Super worried as he was just surrendered to the shelter yesterday. Family stated he was playful and housebroken. Please comment, tag and share this post to help find him his forever home. He’s available for adoption NOW at the @lancasteranimalslaco #adoptlove.”

And just last week, the Veronica Mars star posted a cute snap of herself and another furry friend, along with a very clear message: #adoptseniordogs #adoptdontshop

In a recent video for Wallis Annenberg PetSpace (a community service and pet adoption center that includes veterinary care and animal education), Bell explained why she's so passionate about the adopting of pets.

“I think a lot about all the animals that are in the pounds right now that don’t have homes that are put down because people don’t rescue enough. And I wanted to save a life.”

Now who wants to take Frank home?
