King Charles and Prince Harry Are Reuniting Next Month for ‘Peace Talks,’ According to Bombshell Report

In case you didn’t know, Harry will be attending the Invictus Games in Germany with his wife, Meghan Markle, 41. The Duke of Sussex reportedly plans on making a slight detour during his trip back to California. (FYI, it seems Markle will not be present during the meeting between Harry and Charles.)

Apparently, the monarch will attend the meeting with his son after leaving Balmoral Castle in Scotland (where he’s been on summer vacation) and before heading to Paris with his wife, Queen Camilla, 76. While details of the meeting have been kept secret, The Mirror speculates that Harry and Charles will sit down to have “peace talks.”

This would be the first face-to-face, one-on-one discussion the monarch and his youngest son have had since the duke published his memoir, Spare, and released his Harry & Meghan series on Netflix.

This moment of reconciliation has been a long time coming for the father-son duo. While promoting his memoir back in January, the father of two sat down with ITV and revealed he wants to “make amends” with his father. 

“I want a family, not an institution,” Harry told news reporter Tom Bradby. “I would like to get my father back. I would like to have my brother back.”
