The convo between Kelly Ripa, 52, and Mark Consuelos, 52, got a little bit steamy on a recent episode of Live with Kelly and Mark when the topic of posting nude photos of yourself on social media became the center of the discussion.
Last week, on an episode of Live, the hosting duo shared their thoughts on celebrities over the age of 50 posting nude photos of themselves on their personal Instagram accounts.
For example, celebs like Halle Berry, 56, participated in the trend and a photo of herself sipping wine in her “birthday suit” on her balcony quickly went viral online (and was met with quite the response).
During the segment (which was shared on Live’s Instagram page), Ripa asks her hubby what he thinks about the “baring it all” trend. Consuelos candidly responds, “I like it. I’m for it!” which is met with loud applause and praise from the audience.
Even Ripa can’t help but smile at her husband’s supportive remark. The Riverdale alum continues, “Body positivity. Why not?”
And here’s where it gets saucy. The Live Wire author casually asks Consuelos if he would be open to posting his own nude pic on the interwebs. His response? Not a chance.
Even though Consuelos shares he wouldn’t do it, Ripa (who has posted thirst traps of her man online) says that she “highly encourages” him to do it. And to further emphasize her point, she subtly winks at the camera and smiles widely.
In the comments section, Live fans were all for the All My Children alum participating in the trend, with one person writing, “I highly encourage it as well!!” alongside a winky face emoji. Another chimed in and said, “You heard her Mark, TAKE IT OFF.”
