Kelly Ripa Welcomed a Very Special Guest on ‘Live’ Today—& We’re Not Talking About Guest Host Andy Cohen

We reported this morning that Ryan Seacrest was noticeably absent from today’s episode of Live with Kelly and Ryan. As a result, fellow TV personality Andy Cohen was recruited to sit in for him as a guest co-host both today and tomorrow. However, the Bravo star wasn’t the only new face we saw during the episode. Turns out, Ripa’s hubby, Mark Consuelos, was the show’s special guest.

In honor of the major event, the producers from Live shared a sweet behind-the-scenes snap of the trio on stage. In the pic, we see Ripa seated in her chair leaning her head on her husband as he stands to her right. However, due to the current social distancing guidelines, Cohen had to pose for the photo while standing six feet away. “Daddy’s home! @instasuelos @bravoandy,” the caption read.

And while we imagine Ripa was excited to have her partner on the show, it’s clear Cohen was just as (if not more) pumped about his appearance. The 52-year-old also made sure to take a selfie of his own with Ripa and Consuelos, sharing it on his personal Instagram account. “Having a ball co-hosting with @kellyripa this morning. (Tomorrow too!),” he captioned the sweet snap on Instagram. “And Mark’s here too!!”
