Ryan Seacrest Is No Longer Hosting ‘Live’ Without His Co-host & Pal Kelly Ripa

Kelly Ripa’s absence from Live with Kelly and Ryan yesterday left us all with a ton of questions. However, her hiatus was short-lived, because she’s back on set this morning alongside her co-host, Ryan Seacrest.

ICYMI: On Thursday’s episode of the popular morning show, we were surprised to see that the 50-year-old TV personality was absent from the show’s set and, instead, had Tamron Hall sitting in for her as a guest host. Not only did Hall take Ripa’s place on stage, but she was also featured in the daily, behind-the-scenes video post shared on Live’s official Instagram page.

Luckily, the mother of three’s time-off didn’t last long, because she was back in today’s pre-show clip featuring herself and the American Idol alum making their way from their respective dressing rooms to the stage.

It still hasn’t been fully addressed as to why Ripa was MIA for the episode, however, we’re sure she’ll provide us with all the details during the show. Our original guess was that the All My Children alum took some quality time to spend with her husband, Mark Consuelos, who has been in Vancouver the last few months filming for the CW's Riverdale and has been unable to return to see his family due to the current pandemic. But according to her IG, he hadn't actually arrived home as of yesterday morning and is due back today, so that clearly wasn't it.

Not to mention, considering she’s returned after just one day, it’s highly unlikely that her absence was due to an illness or a vacation (a few of our other guesses).

Good to have you back, Kelly (and Mark). Now, please spill the deets.
