Kelly Ripa, 52, and Mark Consuelos, 51, are really getting in the Easter spirit. The soon-to-be co-hosts of Live posted a selfie to Instagram, where they are seen dressed up in bunny ears. And we're loving their dedication to the holiday.
Ripa posted the photo to her account, which Consuelos then shared to his own IG Story. In her caption, the Let's Talk Off Camera podcast host made a fitting Bugs Bunny reference, writing: “Happy Easter from two wascally wabbits.”
In the photo, the couple are seen wearing headbands with fuzzy rabbit ears attached. Each of their headbands are white, with different colors on the inside of the ears—with Ripa's being pink and Consuelos's being dark grey.
Fellow celebs, like Lisa Rinna and Justin Sylvester, loved the festive photo and proceeded to comment emojis of bunnies and hearts. Meanwhile, social media influencer Amanda Hirsch left a comical comment, writing, “Why do I feel like you guys are gonna keep these on for later if you know what I mean.”
Ripa always posts humorous content around the holidays, and she's often surprised us when Easter rolls around.
Back in 2020, the All My Children alum shared a photo of her two eldest children, Michael, 25, and Lola, 21, from when they were small kids. In the photo, the two are seen posing with a person dressed in a giant rabbit costume. Young Michael is seen smiling, while Lola is captured bursting into tears. In her caption, Ripa wrote: “#fbf Easter 2003 when Michael met carrot and @theyoungestyung met Bunny. You’re welcome. #easter #nationalsiblingday.”
Even though they're empty nesters now, we're glad that Kelly and Mark haven't lost their sense of playfulness.
