Whether she’s sharing a heartwarming throwback with her hubby, Mark Consuelos, 51, or posting a rare snapshot from when her children were younger, we always live for Kelly Ripa’s nostalgic pics on social media.
And this time around, the Live with Kelly and Ryan host, 52, shared an old pic of herself showing off her modeling skills. But, according to Ripa, there was a tiny makeup mishap that we almost didn’t catch in the photo.
The Live Wire author recently shared a throwback picture taken on Super Bowl Sunday back in 2018, where she is rocking a vibrant green wetsuit (along with her wet straight hairdo) while holding onto a boat railing, with the stunning view of a white sandy beach and palm trees in the background.
Ripa wrote in the caption, “A pic from #superbowl sunday 2018 sporting my lucky Eagles wetsuit. Gonna wear it under my winter coat this year,” alongside a bunch of eagle emojis (referring to this year’s competing football team in the Super Bowl, the Philadelphia Eagles).
While fans (and even her husband Mark) couldn’t get enough of her fabulous ensemble, Ripa pointed out that the stunning snap wasn’t quite perfect. In the comments section, the morning show host revealed to her followers that, if you look very closely, her eyelashes are coming off in the photo.
She wrote, “Can you see my eyelashes coming unglued in that wind??” alongside laughing emojis.
Ripa has never been shy about sharing a beachy throwback on Instagram. Back in May 2021, she posted an old picture to her page, where she and her husband are packing on the PDA while on vacation. She wrote in the caption, “#fbf 2011 a light PDA moment in celebration of #MC40. countdown to #MC50 which will be a virtual celebration this year.”
Makeup mishaps aside, we’d say you totally nailed the shot, Kelly.
