Kelly Ripa just shared a throwback photo from when her daughter, Lola, was a baby, and the caption will make every parent say, “same.”
Yesterday, the Live with Kelly and Ryan co-host, 48, posted an old pic on Instagram in honor of her daughter, 18, who is moving away to college.
The snap shows Ripa and her husband, Mark Consuelos, gazing at their newly christened baby, who has grown up right in front of our eyes.
She captioned the post, “#tbt 2001 from your Christening to college. In the blink of an eye. I’m not crying. You’re crying. (actually Daddy’s sobbing).”
Lola is set to attend New York University this fall. Although we don’t know what she’s studying, we have no doubt that her parents have a few ideas up their sleeves.
The news comes just a few months after Lola attended prom, an event that her dad couldn’t help but document on Instagram. The Riverdale star, 48, shared a photo of the mother-daughter duo and wrote, “My girls…”
Ripa later appeared on an episode of the Jerry O’ Show and revealed that Lola didn’t ask for permission to make her prom dress appear more revealing.
“That’s the prom dress that we had made, and she had altered behind our back,” Ripa said.
She and Consuelos are also parents to two sons, Michael (22) and Joaquin (16).
Just wait until Lola is living on her own, then the real fun begins. (For her, at least.)
