When you're in the audience of a live talk show, there are a few rules—like maybe don’t shout over the host while they're interviewing a guest. But that didn’t stop one bold viewer from chiming in during a recent episode of Live with Kelly & Mark—and Kelly Ripa handled it like a total pro.

The moment happened while Kelly and her co-host and husband Mark Consuelos were chatting with Law & Order: SVU star Christopher Meloni, who was telling a sweet story about a recent trip to the Dominican Republic with his wife, Sherman. “We were at this beautiful restaurant overlooking a jungle,” he shared. “There was no light. It’s not built up, no one’s there.”

Then an audience member called out, “Where was it?”

Without missing a beat, Christopher replied, “I’m not telling you,” which got a laugh from everyone. Kelly and Mark turned to acknowledge the interruption and Kelly jokingly added, “We’ll handle the questions, ma’am.” The audience cracked up and the interview rolled on smoothly.

Also worth noting? The interview took place in Live with Kelly & Mark's brand-new studio space, which the show debuted earlier in the week. The sleek new set features a jaw-dropping view of the Brooklyn Bridge and a bright, open layout that feels super fresh. The team even shared behind-the-scenes pics on Instagram with the caption, “New studio… who dis.”

They kicked off their first show in the new location by showing off the space, complete with a timelapse of it coming together. “Welcome to our brand new studio,” Kelly said, while Mark added, “Wow, it sounds good. It sounds like a stadium in here!”

Honestly, between the surprise audience moments and the studio glow-up, Live with Kelly & Mark is having a serious main character era.
