Since announcing that her cancer is in remission, Kate Middleton has been easing back into public life—and doing it entirely on her own terms. While she’s made appearances at major events like Trooping the Colour, VE Day commemorations and a few lower-key outings tied to her favorite causes, she’s also stepped back when needed. Most recently, she skipped the Royal Ascot, where Prince William and other senior royals were in attendance. According to royal insiders, the move was intentional—and all about prioritizing her health.

Now, a royal expert is shedding more light on the wellness habits Princess Catherine has reportedly been incorporating into her recovery routine and it’s not just about hitting the gym. Royal expert Neil Sean told Fox News Digital it's more than that.

“Princess Catherine has been recuperating behind the scenes,” Sean said. “This includes a return to ballet with her daughter Princess Charlotte, a massive return to daily nature walks, as well as [keeping up with] her photography hobby.”

He added, “An excellent source told me she is living in the moment and has no time for drama… or difficult family members. She attended Trooping of the Colour and the Order of the Garter but felt it was too much to attend Royal Ascot. She felt exhausted. This is normal… regarding her return after cancer.”

And perhaps the most surprising wellness strategy? “One thing that she also does every single day which she describes as the best therapy known to her is her return to playing the piano,” Sean shared.

Back in November 2024, royal author Robert Jobson also noted that Kate had started returning to the gym and was slowly resuming her normal rhythm.

So no, her routine isn’t about rushing back to business—it’s about healing, balance and getting back to herself, little by little.
