Every parent goes through the annual dilemma of deciding whether to accompany their children on their trick-or-treating adventures or opt out entirely. Well, keep in mind that even Kate Middleton is a fan of the annual Halloween tradition.

An old photo from last year has recently resurfaced in honor of the spooky season, as Hello! magazine points out. The pic shows Princess Catherine, 41, trick-or-treating with her three children—Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5—at a house in London.

The owner of the home, Jay Rutland, posted a screenshot of the security footage, which has now gone viral on social media. The neighbor wrote a heartfelt message about the royal’s willingness to join her kids.

“For anyone doubting how down to earth William and Kate are…,” the text read. “This is Kate with their kids knocking on our door in London trick-or-treating at Halloween [pumpkin emoji].”

Rutland and his wife, Tamara, live in London’s Kensington neighborhood, which is a stone’s throw from Princess Catherine’s home at Kensington Palace. Last year, Rutland hosted a Q&A on Instagram and shared rare details about the Wales family when one fan asked about the royal couple.

“Kate knocked on our door in London with their kids on Halloween,” Rutland said, according to Hello! magazine. “‘Trick or Treating.’ Very friendly and down-to-earth.”

They don’t appear to be wearing costumes, but we’ll let it slide.
